5. AI and Your Content
5.1 How We Process Your Content
When you upload videos, screenshots, analytics, scripts, or any other inputs to Virlo, our AI analyses that content to provide recommendations, identify patterns, and generate personalised coaching. This processing is done to provide the Service you have paid for.
5.2 We Do Not Sell Your Content
We do not sell or rent your uploaded content or personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5.3 AI Model Training
We do use your inputs — including uploaded videos, analytics screenshots, written prompts, profile information, and the content you create through Virlo — to train and improve our AI models. This is how Virlo gets smarter at coaching creators like you. By using Virlo, you grant us the right to use this content for AI training and product improvement. We take reasonable steps to remove direct personal identifiers from training data where practical. If you do not want your content used for training, you may delete your account at any time (see Section 9).
6. Who We Share Your Data With
We share your data only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: Trusted third-party providers who help us operate the Service (hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, AI model providers). These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by data processing agreements.
- Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or regulatory authority.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before this occurs.
- With your consent: In any other circumstances where you have given explicit consent.
We do not sell personal data to third parties.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Upon account deletion:
- Account data is deleted within 30 days
- Uploaded content is deleted within 30 days
- Anonymised usage data and any data already incorporated into trained AI models may be retained
- Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations
8. International Data Transfers
Virlo operates globally. Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own, including countries that may not have the same data protection laws as your country. Where we transfer data internationally we use appropriate safeguards including standard contractual clauses approved by relevant regulatory authorities.

We take the security of your data seriously and implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. These include encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews.

11. Children's Privacy
Virlo is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 16 without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly.
